Preserving and sharing the history of Wabaunsee County, Kansas
The Meyer Building, located at 223 Missouri Street in Alma, Kansas is seen in this view from about 1890. The first Wabaunsee County Courthouse is visible at the far right, located just inches from the Meyer building.
We appreciate everyone who made the Wamego Community Foundation Match Day a success. 72 separate gifts were received and we raised over $23,000! The funds are used toward the rehabilitation of the facade of the Farmers Union Coop building, also known as the annex.
