Open House for “Bountiful Harvest, the Heritage of Haying in Wabaunsee County” will be held at the museum and railroad park in Alma.
At 2 pm, Jim Hoy, will give a presentation about the exhibit with stories and reminisces about haying. In Railroad Park, there will be a display of haying equipment past and present. Homemade ice cream and Alma Bakery cookies will be served at the park. We hope you can join us!
The 2021 Quilt Raffle has begun! “Feed Sack Patches” is a queen-size quilt made with fabric from 1930’s era chick feed sacks with embroidered chickens in the corners. Buy your tickets at the museum and soon at local banks.

The drawing is at the Annual Meeting of the Historical Society on August 28, 2021. You do not need to be present to win.
