The Eskridge Post Office was located on the south side of the building. ‹ Return to post 2 replies » The post office front door was on the south side of the building, but the post office was housed in the west end of the first floor of this building. If one examines this picture closely, the word “Bank” can be seen at the top of one story building next to the featured Security State Bank. The Waugh family (two brothers) who owned and operated the Security State Bank in both buildings originally owned a hardware store on Eskridge’s Main Street business district.
